Seabank, Castlebellingham•Excavate a 1.5m wide x 1.5m deep trench along 20 metres of shoreline embankment.•Place a layer of Geotextile membrane in the trench and up the sloped embankment.•Install a row of three tonne boulders to form a bedding of rock armour.•Overlay with rows of boulders to form a sloped wall up to road level.Salterstown, Annagassan•Excavate a 1.5 metre wide x 1.5 metre deep trench along 50 metres of shoreline embankment.•Place a layer of geotextile membrane in the trench and up the sloped embankment.•Install a row of three tonne boulders to form a bedding of rock armour.•Overlay with rows of boulders to form a sloped wall up to circa 4metres above OD.The contractor shall make himself aware of the Design Risk Assessment carried out for both works locations and the assumption/measures contained within.The works are located within the Dundalk Bay Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and the Dundalk Bay Special Protection Area (SPA). An AA Screening report, a NIS report and a draft Construction Environmental Management Plan have been produced and all works shall comply with the mitigation measures proposed within these documents including:•Habitat protection during construction works.•Disturbance to wetland and wading birds
