Cumbria County Council and Eden District Council are consultees in the DCO process and are classified as “host authorities’ and have an important role in the process in providing a local perspective and influencing the preparation of the DCO. The Councils require a range of technical support in order to input appropriately into the A66 NTP in the following stages (timescales are indicative based on discussions with National Highways):, •Pre-application (to May 2022), •Acceptance and Pre- Examination (June – August 2022), •Examination (September 2022 – February 2023), •Post Decision, See Scope for further information
