Descriptions
This framework is for accommodation, care and support services in care homes for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism for Scottish councils, NHS organisations and/or any Integration Authorities or other bodies established pursuant to the Public Bodies (Joint Working)(Scotland) Act 2014 with powers to purchase such services.It is envisaged that the framework will cover 24 hour services including accommodation, care and support provided on an individual basis for adults with learning disabilities who have a need for support in a care home setting, in accordance with the National Care Standards (http://www.nationalcarestandards.org/) and national quality outcomes including but not limited to the National Health and Wellbeing Outcomes (http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Health/Policy/Adult-Health-SocialCare-Integration/Outcomes) and Talking Points Outcomes Framework (http://www.jitscotland.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Talking-Points-Practical-Guide-21-June-2012.pdf)
