CEHRFG2022 - Re-roof slated roofs and repair chimneys
Descriptions
The RFT refers to our Enterprise House building shown in Pictures A and B in the supporting documentation. There are two main components as detailed below:a.Replacement of sections of the Slate Roofb.Removal of one chimney and capping / sealing of a further 2 chimneys. Project Components: A.Re-roof of part of slate roof.Area to be replaced: a.All slated area shown in Picture A, totalling approximately 83.5 sq. m.b.Slated roof area shown at the centre of Picture B (lower slated roof) totalling approximately 52.7 sq. m.Total Area to be replaced – Approximately 136.2 sq. m.(Contractor / tenderer is responsible for taking exact measurements. The measurements above are as a guide only.)Works required: Strip off slates, felt and battens and replace with new. New lead and ridge caps to be installed.New Fascia Board to be installed.New guttering and downpipes to be fitted.B.Remove / Cap /seal chimneys.2 chimneys on the higher section of the building in Picture A to be capped / sealed.1 chimney on the lower section of the building in Picture A to be removed to roof level and roofed over. General:•All materials and labour to be supplied by contractor. •All Scaffolding and other access systems to be provided by contractor.•All waste to be removed by Contractor.•All measurements to be taken by contractor / tenderer.•Contractor is responsible for all insurances and copies of policies must be submitted before contract is awarded.•Contract must be completed by 14th October 2022 or earlier.
