Eden District Council (EDC) is seeking bids from bidders for the admin of its housing allocation and homelessness functions covering the below key areas:— admin of the EDC housing advice function,— admin of the EDC homelessness function,— management of the EDC housing register.The service is required to be delivered throughout Eden. It will be a requirement of the successful bidder to make available a min of 6 units of temporary accommodation within Penrith, covering the following property types:— 2 x 2 or 3 bedroom family houses,— 4 x 1 or 2 bed flats.The outcome of the tender process will be a single contract with 1 service provider. The contract will be for a max. 10 year duration, with break clauses at the following years, subject to EDC requirements and the performance of the successful bidder:— 2 years,— 5 years,— 8 years.The anticipated contract start date is 1.4.2020.The estimated annual contract value is 300 000 GBP, ex VAT, however, this is an estimate only.
