Descriptions

Newport City Homes require an external works contract to carry out a number of external works to the external walls and roofs, including replacement roofs and roof line works. There are a small number of concrete gutters which are to be removed and converted to a traditional gutter system (as attached drawing). Roofline works include, replacement fascia, soffits, bargeboards, some which are ACM. There are also a small number of concrete roof tile and fibre cement roof replacements. There are also a number of houses which require an EWI system (phenolic) to replace previous UPVC cladding at first floor level. The proposed existing insulation should be in keeping with NCH existing EWI properties. There are new insulated and non-insulated flat roofs to be replaced to porch areas, garages and bay window roofs. There are a small number of blocks which require replacement cladding to new fibre cement weatherboarding.
