Medway Council's head office has been partially closed since October 2023 whilst internal investigations are underway to support a full options appraisal of the RAAC situation. RAAC Consulting Solutions (RCS) was engaged in April 2024 to perform some survey work. As a result of those surveys, the wider remediation may not be as substantial as previously envisaged.To support this consideration and the final options appraisal, further off-site inspections need to be undertaken on samples of the RAAC. The further inspection, inclusive of the temporary remediation whilst those materials are taken offsite, are protected by RCS's IP.
