Descriptions

Currently, 6 entities provide home support services within specific geographic boundaries around North Lanarkshire. These entities are contracted to provide these services until 31.3.2016. Due to a number of unforeseen complexities which are elaborated on at annex D1, North Lanarkshire Council are not currently able to issue a tender for these services nor are they able to provide the services on an in house basis. North Lanarkshire Council will therefore enter into 6 1-year contracts with these entities to provide a minimum of 1 750 hours per week of home support services. Please note North Lanarkshire Council intend to run a tender exercise in respect of the home support services it requires prior to the expiry of the 6 contracts to which this VEAT notice relates.
