Jacksons Lane Arts Centre — Appointment of Desing Team (Ace Large Capital Stage II)

Jacksons Lane is conducting an OJEU process to appoint a Design Team for a significant Arts Council England-funded Large Capital development starting late 2017. The 1st phase of this work will culminate in the submission of an Arts Council England Stage II Large Capital application at RIBA Design Stage D (RIBA Plan of work 2007)/or completed RIBA Work Stage 3 (RIBA Plan of work 2013). We then hope for subsequent stages & the entire project should be c. GBP 4 500 000. The Design Team might be 1 organisation or a consortium with 1 lead organisation, & include (eg) architect, structural & quantity surveyors, M&E & acoustics specialists & so on. In addition to developing the project to RIBA stages as above, plans for the remainder of 2017 & 2018 include securing the balance of funding required for the project. If funds are in place, & the Arts Council Stage II application is successful, then the construction phase of the project will start early 2020, with the building re-opening late 2020.
