Awarded
3104/JN - Pulsed Optical Parametric Oscillator for SWIR Wavelengths
Descriptions
The University of Sheffield's Department of Physics and Astronomy, with funding from EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council), require a tuneable optical parametric oscillator (OPO) (1200 - 1600 nm) which will be pumped by an existing femtosecond Ti:Sapphire (Ti:S) laser system. The OPO output will be used for optical spectroscopy of semiconductor-based photonic devices. The primary use of the OPO will be for time-resolved resonant and quasi-resonant spectroscopy of quantum dots emitting in telecom wavelength regions. This is an open exercise. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University`s e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffield If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend system, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system.
