Modification of Aircraft to embody changes to Emergency Services Communications Equipment.

Descriptions

The Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme will see the introduction of a communication system using the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) trafficking voice and data via Long Term Evolution LTE (4G). This project is Home Office led and is scheduled to be completed by December 2019.The Home Office will provide all equipment for operators (NPAS) to install within their aircraft. This technology will come with proven airborne capability and be accompanied by provenance paperwork such as DO160G, Certificate of Conformity and where possible EASA FORM 1.NPAS will require a modifier to embody the changes required to the aircraft — therefore NPAS would like to invite prospective suppliers to discuss the potential options relating to this requirement — please see document at www.bluelight.gov.uk for my information.
