Evaluation of the Children of Alcohol Dependent Parents Innovation Fund.The programme includes a number of different elements, including:— a 4 500 000 GBP innovation fund to allow up to 8 local authorities to develop plans that improve identification and support for children and parents where a parent (or other adult in the household) is dependent on alcohol. This support should include measures to reduce parental conflict,— 1 000 000 GBP to fund national capacity building by non-governmental organisations delivered as section 64 grants,— 500 000 GBP to expand national helplines for children with alcohol dependent parents.
