PQ0465 - Evaluation of a behaviour change intervention to increase uptake of MMR

The Council Behavioural Science Team sits within the Public Health Division and has a key aim of optimising behavioural science across public health and corporate priorities. The aim of this contract is to provide key external and independent evaluation of the first internal primary research systems and processes. This will also inform future planning for the behavioural science team as well as the division. The Council, therefore, requires a supplier for the provision of the evaluation of behavioural science informed intervention aimed at increasing uptake of MMR through motivational interviewing educational training. This commission will entail the evaluation of the gold project from initiation to completion. The provider is expected to work with the council and system partners involved in the MMR intervention. Quality evaluation of the project will inform the council of whether contributing to primary research through behavioural science intervention is useful and necessary. The provider is expected to evaluate the whole process from initiation phases, research processes, implementation of intervention, data collection and analysis as well as write-up. They are also expected to evaluate the implementation of Health Literacy in the intervention and ensuring that the project is culturally competent. As such, the evaluation will run alongside the actual study. Support The council will provide appropriate and proportionate expert public health advice, support and signpost to appropriate information. The Council will work with the provider to enable the contract delivery as much as possible. Example of support are as below. This list is not exhaustive: o Guidance throughout to ensure the report maps the service specifications o All documentation of the study will be shared. These include: ? Literature review ? Behavioural Diagnosis and mapping of intervention type and functions ? Full intervention plan and access to intervention content and delivery ? Raw data, if relevant ? Finding of study This contract will last until the end of the financial year 2023/2024 at 31st of March 2024.
