Oxfordshire County Council is inviting bids from economic operators for the provision of Community Equipment and associated services. The contract duration is from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015 with an option to extend for up to 1 year at the sole discretion of Oxfordshire County Council and therefore may be exercised for the period up to 31.March 2016.Community Equipment enables service users who require assistance to perform essential activities of daily living to maintain their health and autonomy and to live as full a life as possible. The contract is divided into 2 lots:Lot A - Integrated Community Equipment Services ICES;Lot B - Lifts and Hoists.Oxfordshire County Council is seeking tenders from established and experienced economic operators who have a minimum of two years experience in providing Community Equipment Services or other similar services to other public or health bodies.
