Provision of Community Weight Management Services
Descriptions
NHSGGC wishes to commission adult community weight management services for Patients with a BMI>30 – 39. Services will meet Tier 2 definition as described by Scottish Government’s Tiered approach to Weight Management. These services will complement a NHSGGC operated Tier 3 service for patients with defined co-morbidities or a BMI >40 and a pilot weight management programme for young people currently operating with commercial weight management partners.
