Technical services. Military electronic systems. The Maritime Equipment Systems, Electrical Systems Group (MES ESG) has a future requirement for a four year Enabling Contract for Supply, Manufacture, Repair, and Provision of Technical Assistance Services, for In Service Support of ASTUTE and LPD Platform Management Systems through one or more Enabling Contracts. The requirement will include the following:— Project Management;— Provision of Spares and Consumables;— Repair of Spares and Components;— Post Design Services.Companies who are not already on the MoD X-list will be required to undertake a security clearance process in order to comply with the security measures of the contract.Suppliers wishing to express an interest in this requirement are required to:Submit a copy of their UKAS accredited/recognised 3rd Party (or Government Issued) Quality Management System (QMS) certification BS EN ISO 9001:2008; which includes an appropriate scope to meet the requirement. In the event that no certification is held, the company must be able to demonstrate that they operate and maintain a QMS acceptable to the Department for this requirement.Confirm that they are willing or able to trade electronically using the Purchase to Payment (P2P) business process.Companies who submit an Expression of Interest may be required to complete and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to confirm their suitability to be included in the tender panel for this requirement. The Authority's decision in this matter will be final.Contracts with prime suppliers will only be considered if greater value for money can be derived other than contracting separately for each lot.
