Residual Waste Treatment Solution for Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Councils

Rhondda Cynon Taf for and on behalf of itself, and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (together "the Hub") (and/or such other local authorities in Wales as, may join the Hub or may be substituted for one or more of the local authorities in the Hub) are seeking to enter into a long term contract with a contractor for a residual waste treatment solution.There will also be the facility for Blaenau Gwent and/or Torfaen County Borough Councils to potentially join the arrangement from 2016 onwards.The Hub is seeking a merchant based, services only solution.The Hub does not intend to specify a particular technology solution, and will consider any technology solution that meets its requirements. All solutions will be assessed in accordance with the details provided within the evaluation methodology. Further details are given in the tender documents.The Hub may accept variant bids provided that the Hub's output requirements are met and provided the variant is submitted in accordance with the tender/contract documents.
