Award NoticeThe Council is inviting tenders for the upgrade of 2 existing and the provision of 3 new road weather information sites. The tender will provide for the removal and disposal of the existing weather stations and the installation and establishment of the new weather stations. All 5 weather stations are to be operational and providing data to the satisfaction of the Weather forecaster by end of October 2018. The 2 existing sites are to be operational by 1st October 2018.The contract will also allow for front line maintenance, all calibration and servicing requirements for a 5 year period and as recommended by the equipment supplier. All maintenance will be that required over and above the 5 year equipment guarantee period.
