The Health Board invites applications for the sponsorship of Stoma Care Services, for the provision of services within primary and secondary care settings in Swansea, Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and surrounding areas. This shall include the supply of consumables, education & training, it equipment & support, mobile telephones, transport arrangements and funding for research activity.The team will consist of nine nurses, one clinical research fellow and two clerical support workers to provide care for approximately 360 new patients per annum and to provide continuing care within the community, covering a large geographical area. In addition there will be responsibilities to coordinate the colorectal research programme within the Health Board which includes the ERAS programme and the data collection on patients with colorectal malignancy.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
