Teesport No 1 Quay Reconstruction and Berth Deepening Works – Civil and Dredging Works.
Descriptions
A circa 24 month contract for the design, procurement, delivery to site, off-loading, construction, installation and commissioning (including all testing) of the reconstruction of Teeport No 1 Quay. The works consist of the demolition and removal of the existing concrete structure and reconstruction of the quay, including dredging works to deepen the approaches and berthing pocket. The reconstruction and dredging will be undertaken in phases to allow the existing operations to continue during the works.The proposed phasing strategy for the quay reconstruction is:Phase 1 – approximately 304 m long.Phase 2 – approximately 285 m long.Phase 3 – approximately 198 m long.The Contracting Entity reserves the right to omit Phase 2 and Phase 3 Civil and Dredging works from the Contract.
