The service provider manages, maintains and delivers equipment for the people of North Somerset. Equipment will range from a grab rail to support someone up the stairs, to a specialist chair to support our most disabled children in the district. Many of our care plans include the provision of equipment and it is an essential service for the council to deliver its statutory duties. The service is for a Community Equipment Service with Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), North Somerset Council, South Gloucestershire Council and Bristol City Council to provide a consistent service across the area.
