The Hazeley Academy opened its doors to a small cohort of students in 2005 and is now a well-established, successful Secondary school and Sixth Form with over 1 500 students aged 11-18. Along with their partner school they are founder members of the 5 Dimensions Trust.They are proud of the consistently excellent examination results achieved at Hazeley and work hard to ensure students also gain the personal qualities of character, confidence and creativity needed to make a success in adult life. They measure this success not only on academic results but on what Hazeley students go on to achieve after leaving the Academy.A modern academy, Hazeley offers a vibrant learning environment which students take pride in. This allows them to recruit the very best teachers, who as a results of their ethos, values and focus on staff wellbeing are amongst the happiest and most motivated in the country. These teachers combine high level academic expertise, excellent teaching skills and a real concern for the wellbeing of each and every student.The Shenley Brook End School is a school at the heart of the local neighbourhood that they serve. All their students live within a short distance from the school and there is a real feel of everyone knowing each other.The school is a vibrant and exciting community. they aim to provide an outstanding, positive learning environment and value the high quality of relationships that enable this to be true of all aspects of school life.They support and encourage their students to try their best to achieve success in all areas and help prepare them for their future choices, not only in their academic learning, but also within other areas such as music, sport, art and drama.The predominant focus of the school is on working with students to develop the attitudes, skills and knowledge which combine to create successful and independent learners.
