The council is looking to establish a single supplier framework agreement.The repairs service aims to demonstrate a positive impact on our residents' health and well-being by maintaining properties which are safe and fit for purpose.Islington Council decided to end its housing repairs and maintenance managed service arrangement and set up an in-house repairs team to carry out repairs and maintenance to our housing stock in August 2014. Staff in the in-house repairs team are all be employed directly by Islington Council. By bringing the repairs service back into the Council, the Council will have more control over the repairs and maintenance service it delivers to its residents.The in-house repairs and maintenance teams require support from external contractors with skilled Drainage Repairs and Maintenance tradespeople in delivering a first-class service.
