Descriptions
The works comprise mainly of the installation of a new external insulation with a silicone render.Overall the works will need to include; • The temporary removal of any fixtures, cables, cameras, etc while the insulation and rendering is being undertaken, and re fix after. • Cutting back of the plaster reveals to all 21 windows to provide a depth for High Density EPS insulation to the reveals. Existing reveals are approx. 80mm in depth (91.16m) • Cutting back of cill overhang (42m) • Provision of pressed metal cills to 21 windows • Provision of pressed metal capping to section of the insulation (57.15m) • Cutting in lead counter flashing to pressed metal capping (57.15m) • Any surface preparation required • Adhesive coat • 120mm EPS Insulation, mechanically fixed. • HD EPS 30mm thick to all reveals and heads ( 91.16m) • All proprietary corner beads , stops, etc as required. Please note the 4 no existing movement joints in the façade, which will require the be maintained. • Base coat and Mesh reinforcement • Render primer • Decorative Finish coat The overall Façade area is 200 msq, made up of 152.13 msq wall, and 47.87 msq windows. You are required to include for all scaffold and other mechanical equipment required to carry out the works.
