The Specialist EOD&S, Exploitation and Countermeasures Project Team, part of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence (the Authority) awarded a contract to Emergent BioSolutions Canada Inc for the supply of Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion (RSDL). This is a framework contract for 7 years and has a total contract value of £300,000. The Contract will be for an initial three (3) years and four (4) additional option years to support the stockpiles of RSDL. This Contract was placed as a Single Source Contract and was below the threshold of the DSPCR regulations. However, a VTN and subsequent Contract Award Notice has been issued in the interests of transparency.
