The proposed works for which this Site Investigation Works Contract is being undertaken relate to the Grand Canal Greenway Scheme. The proposed scheme will create and enhance existing facilities for pedestrian and cyclists. The purpose of the Site Investigation Works is to identify the extent and nature of the existing utilities and underground structures, sample and test the existing ground conditions, identify any contaminant materials which may be encountered during the construction undertaking and, assess and make recommendations on the existing road pavements proposed for upgrade.
