2220-16 Green Port Growth Programme — Social Inclusion.

Descriptions

East Riding of Yorkshire Council, as the accountable body for the Regional Growth Fund Round 2 (RGF2) part funded Green Port Growth Programme (GPGP) is seeking to commission a series of activities aimed at identifying and supporting individuals who are disengaged and furthest from the labour market to access the employment and training opportunities becoming available as a result of the emerging renewables sector in the Hull and the East Riding area. This procurement exercise seeks to establish a framework of companies, organisations or social enterprises that will provide access to additional support and assistance to those disengaged and furthest from the labour market and/or training for unemployed residents of Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire to access the opportunities becoming available as a result of the emerging renewables sector, including through labour market displacement occurring in other sectors or industries within the area. It is envisaged that this work will be of particular interest to the network of existing organisations based on the north bank of the Humber who have experience of delivering successful positive outcomes for beneficiaries. Consortia/partnership proposals are welcomed.
