The primary objective of the Contract is to combine the requirements for County Durham's 0-5 Healthy Child Programme, including Health Visiting (universal to targeted programmes) with the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 School Nursing (and specialist community public health nursing) service. In order to achieve cohesive service delivery the Council is looking to engage one provider to deliver the requirements of these two specifications.
