Irish Rail is seeking expressions of Interest from suitably qualified applicants for the procurement of a Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Project Management and on-going maintenance of an Interpretive Centre at Malahide, Co. Dublin, IrelandIt involves the production of exhibition and display material, including multi-media installations, of an area within of the building (15ft wide x 18ft long.).It is intended to procure a main contractor to carry out the full project to include research, interpretation, design, mechanical, electrical and installation works. The exhibition will cover subjects such as:-Working on the railway-Staying safe on the railway-Environment and biodiversity on the railwayIt is intended that this will be a design led commission with design quality and appropriate interpretation. The full research, development, development and commissioning of the interpretative exhibition design forms part of this requirement.The exhibition design should be concentrate on primary school aged children. It should be informative and engaging. A criteria for the design of the new exhibition will be that it maximises interest.Maintenance of the exhibition must also be included as part of the tender.
