Keeper’s Pond is a waterbody, recently designated as a reservoir, of 1.48 hectares situated near the town of Blaenavon within the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) National Park.Purpose of this contract1. To provide a robust and definitive answer to the question of which species of Crayfish are present in Keeper’s Pond, its inlets, and outlet and the smaller ponds to the south and west of the carpark through surveys.2. To review whether the population of American signal crayfish present, poses a risk to nearby White clawed crayfish populations.3.
