The work comprises the demolition of the existing properties and substructures and site clearance including removal of all underground drainage, drain pipework, manholes, oil and grease traps, septic tanks, petrol tanks, pipework, contaminated soils etc. Site engineer is required for inspecting, sampling, testing, and certifying for contaminated soil. All excavated areas should be back filled with fully compacted type 1 hardcore with compliance to the guidance and requirements of the construction of subbase of highway. Site engineer is also required for inspecting, sampling, testing, and certifying the materials and compaction of backfill.
