Descriptions
The scope of the works includes the following:a)De-commission, Isolate, disconnect and remove the existing redundant electric storage heating system and associated electrical services and dispose of to a licenced waste facility. b)Construction of a new bulk LPG gas tank storage compound and connection of the new gas service to the new boiler.c)Supply and installation of a new gas fired condensing boiler, flue system and gas safety systemsd)Supply and installation of heating centre pipe work, valves, actuators, pumps and controls etc with new services to suit the new boiler room layout e)Supply of a new packaged pressurisation unit and expansion vessel and associated controlsf)Supply and install a new two pipe heating distribution pipework system and radiators throughout school and the standalone Multipurpose Room.g)Heating Controls including new two port motorised valves and room thermostats to individual classrooms, circulation areas and office to provide independent local control. h)New heating system control panel with all associated controls and BMS and Remote Boost Panel in the Principal’s office together with remote access via smart phone app.i)All associated electrical works including isolations disconnections and strip out and new power and controls cabling run in galvanised steel containment systems to serve the new heating system j)All associated builders works including construction of the new coiler closet, protection of existing school finishes and fixtures and coring of new services opes etc. k)Provision of new attic access ladder and walkway for safe access to the attic services and controls l)Civil works to construct the new gas storage compound and lay a new underground gas service to the boiler room reinstate the grass verge and footpaths and make good to match existing levelsm)Making good and redecoration to match existing school finishes n)Testing & commissioning of the new boiler and heating distribution services and controls.o)Maintenance during
