The Works require the removal and disposal of existing road surface and laying of new road surface, taking up, cleaning and relaying of existing granite kerbs and the removal and disposal of existing footpath and laying of new footpath and ancillary works to stretches of North Road, Phoenix Park, Dublin 8. One contract will be awarded for all of the proposed works.Approximate quantities for the entire works are as follows: -(i)Road plaining for road reinstatement 18,400 m2 (ii)New road construction 18,400 m2(iii) Regulation Item(iv) Excavation of footpaths 5,500 m2(v) Relaying of kerbs and reinstatement of footpaths2,500m(vi) Gully and manhole refurbishment 20 no.(vii) Road marking ItemAll stripped/excavated materials to be stored on site in the OPW Whitefields Compound, Phoenix Park.
