Descriptions
The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission as established by statute (hereinafter referred to as the “Contracting Authority”) is the authority responsible for this procurement.This competition relates to a Multi-Party Framework Agreement (Cascade System), which once established entitles the successful tenderers to be considered for all contracts within the defined scope of the framework agreement. This will involve the Contracting Authority approaching the highest-ranked framework member with the work in question. If unavailable, the next ranked framework member will be approached. On signing of the framework agreement, the successful tenderers will then be referred to as “framework members”. The provision of temporary agency staff within the Houses of the Oireachtas Catering Facilities as and when required. The Initial contract term will be for a period of 12 (twelve) months. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the term for a period of up to twelve (12) months, with a maximum of four such extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Contracting Authority’s obligations at law, any extension to the initial contract will be subject to satisfactory performance, budget availability and ongoing need.
