Detailed description: Construction of a Two-Storey Classroom Extension comprising One (1) General Classroom, Four (4) SET Rooms, Toilets, Ancillary Accommodation, and associated site works at the existing primary school and grounds. The existing school buildings to remain live throughout the contract until substantial completion of the new school building and associated works has been certified. The Contractor is to maintain all heat, power, light, sewage, water etc to/from existing school buildings at all times. The Gross Internal Floor Area is 205m2.Minimum standards and qualification required: As stated in DoES- Declaration of Suitability for Contractors for Small Works (Open Procedure only).Tenderers are required to read the DoES Declaration of Suitability for Contractors for Small Works (Open Procedure only) carefully and to make sure that they meet the minimum standards stated therein. Tenderers who do not meet those requirements should not submit a tender as they will be excluded at award stage. All Tenderers are liable for their own costs of tendering. The Contract will be awarded on the basis of lowest Comparative Cost of Tender. Contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a number of contractors apply as a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who will be responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed or be in existence prior to the date of this contract notice, with whom the Awarding Authority will sign the contract.Site Visit Appointment: Please contact Ms Annette Regan, School Principal at (091) 841217 to arrange an appointment to visit the site.
