The proposed upgrade installation shall be carried out at Kennedy College, New Ross, Co. Wexford It is proposed to upgrade a number of Life Safety Systems installed within the college.Tenderers must sign the "DoES Suitability Declaration for Small Works" available atwww.education.ie under School Building & Design > Procedures and Cost Plans (Design Teamprocedures), and if requested to do so must provide the necessary evidence of compliance statedin that document within 7 days, including evidence of annual turnover greater than 1.5 times thesum tendered, and Health & Safety competence.The Contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a group of contractors applyas a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who willbe responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed with whom theAwarding Authority will sign the contract.
