Descriptions
Using timbercare products (or similar timber repair products), overhaul all timber windows (i.e. sliding sashes, casement window) as part of a pre-cyclical maintenance project (repair, as necessary making external faces ready for redecoration); leave each in an operable condition. In the case of 4no. casement windows complete to the rear of respective main buildings, houses 66 & 68, supply and fit windows complete (that is, including casements/sashes, windowframes, glass, architraves, windowboards, etc. all as per existing arrangement) to comply with drawings approved by the Environmental Department, Hounslow Housing. Drawings submitted to Environmental Department, Hounslow Housing, have been prepared by W. Hanson (Riverdale) Ltd 379 -389 Staines Road FELTHAM Middlesex TW4 5AP; please note that W. Hanson is also approved to supply the windows. Please submit fixed price for all repairs including a schedule of rates for repairs required not visible from the from; please include in your quote a contingency sum of £1,000 per house, that is, £3,000, in total, as per attached documents. The employer would provide access scaffolding by agreement to enable repairs at high level to be carried out.
