Descriptions
Navigation in a GNSS denied environment is a critical component of operating Military UAS in hostile theatres. Therefore this competition exists to de-risk and help develop complete systems that can one day fill this void. While many sub-systems exist that can perhaps operate over land, or in certain scenarios, the Authority requires a system that can overall meet a requirement to operate in all possible scenarios including over land, over Sea, in Night and Day, and in poor visibility whilst not relying on GNSS which are likely to be jammed, spoofed or disrupted.
