2020-2021 Waterfall Country Visitor Survey - Invitation to Tender

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority and Ystradfellte and Pontneddfechan Community Council wishes to commission consultants to design, deliver and analyse data from a survey of the visitors to what is known as Waterfall Country. The current ‘core’ and best known Waterfall Country is to the east/north of Pontneddfechan at the top of the Vale of Neath in South Wales and is a massively popular area for visitors and has led to very high visitor numbers, (some 400,000 per year) especially at peak periods and this is causing negative impacts on the local community and the environment.
