Highways England would like to appoint a supplier to provide archaeological mitigation works for the proposed A303 Amesbury to Berwick Down (Stonehenge) Improvement Scheme. The works will be split into three Sections: 1. Pre-commencement documentation; 2. Site Works; and 3. Processing, Laboratory Work, Reporting and Dissemination, as well as Archaeological Monitoring and Recording. This is a large and complex project, which will require critical capabilities and resources from a balanced and diverse supply chain partner. Collaboration is at the heart of the relationships necessary to delivery at the pace required. The length of the contract is 8 years with the possibility to extend by 1 year.
