Conwy County Borough Council wish to invite tenders for construction of:Shared use (pedestrian/cyclist) bridge over railway comprising steel vierendeel trussed construction with steel circular hollow section supports founded on reinforced concrete spread footings. Located adjacent to A55 Chester to Holyhead Trunk Road.Installation of proprietary vehicle restraint system adjacent to A55 eastbound carriageway.370 metres length of new shared use route comprising 3 metres wide flexible pavement construction through sand dunes to the north of the railway.Clearance of all accumulated wind-blown sand and overgrown vegetation from 490 metres length of 3 metres wide existing route and application of 25mm macadam surface course overlay. Construction of 3No. low height timber sleeper retaining walls totalling 150 metres in length to retain areas of sand dunes to the north side of the route.Contractor to organise required possessions of the railway.****** PLEASE NOTE*******Contractors MUST have experience of:1.
