A96 Inveramsay Bridge Improvement.

Descriptions

Design, construction, completion and maintenance of 1.5 km of realigned trunk road carriageway, generally to the north of the existing A96 trunk road.Associated works include, but are not limited to, provision of a ghost island priority junction, localised realignment of side road carriageways, construction of a road over rail structure and agricultural underpass, earthworks, drainage, including Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) 2 number detention basins, road markings, signing, accommodation works, service diversions, environmental mitigation measures, and on completion of the construction a 5 year period of maintenance for landscaping, replacement of road markings and defect rectification will apply. De-trunking works will be required in association with the de-trunking of the section of the A96 trunk road as a result of the scheme. On-going cyclic maintenance shall be carried out by a third party appointed by the Scottish Ministers.
