The works consist of concrete repairs to various building elements across the Universities main Penglais campus. The primary locations are shown within attached drawings but repairs are not limited to these areas. These works shall include where necessary…- Carbonation testing to establish depth of carbonation- Chloride testing to establish if any chlorides exist within structure- Cover metre survey to establish depth of steel reinforcement- Hammer testing to identify any loose or weak concrete- Allowance of scaffolding or ‘cherry picker’ for works access- Necessary concrete repairsNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
