Bournemouth Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) has appointed a suitably experienced and qualified supplier to deliver structured day programmes to residents of Bournemouth with substance misuse problems.Bournemouth DAAT has two structured day programmes offering structured daily support to individuals in the Bournemouth area. This programme is an abstinent programme of 8 — 12 week duration dependent on need. The programme will also offer pre treatment groups to prepare individuals for the structured programmes. Entry into the services will be via the Bournemouth Assessment Team, an independent, central team of Assessors and Care Co-Ordinators for individuals in structured treatment.The Contract(s) will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years subject to satisfactory performance and funding. The anticipated start date is 1.4.2015.
