Academic Expertise for Business: Final Evaluation

Descriptions

The Welsh Government wishes to undertake a final evaluation of the Academic Expertise for Business (A4B) programme. This final evaluation is a key requirement of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funding that this programme has received. A4B aims to combine the successes of a range of existing knowledge transfer initiatives under one strategic programme. This approach also aims to enhance existing collaboration with the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) in the delivery of third mission aims and objectives. The aim of this evaluation is to assess the progress of the project within the Convergence area, understanding how this was achieved against the original key performance set down in the business plan, the unintended or additional outcomes of the project, and the delivery against the cross-cutting themes commitments made within the project business plan. The Welsh Assembly Government, on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, will be conducting this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk.
