This 18-month programme is in DRC and will continue to focus on improving maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health by addressing key health issues such as nutrition, family planning, maternal care and prevention and management of childhood illness (including malaria). It will support the delivery of basic health services giving an estimated 9 700 000 people improved access to healthcare (ii) provide a facility for DFID to support preparedness and response work for health emergencies with a focus on global health security and disease outbreaks.
