The University requires a tool that will allow us to meet the requirements of the 2018 Accessibility Regulations for Public Sector websites and mobile applications on our Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs). Currently we are using Moodle and Canvas. This may be subject to change in the future. We would like the tool to do the following: integrate into the VLE platforms; provide accessible formats of text-based documents for students who require them; provide an institutional-level audit report of the accessibility of content uploaded to the VLEs; assess the accessibility of content being uploaded to the VLE and prompt staff to review their files.
