In December 1998 the Allenwood Community Development Association (ACDAL) took over the old ESB site on a 999-year lease. The Enterprise Park is the full-time workplace for a relatively large number of people working both with ACDAL and with the various businesses that are now located within the park and the original main building. Allenwood Community Development Association (ACDAL) provides a number of offerings to potential tenants. It offers office suites/space to rent in the main building. These offices are normally rented by companies looking to establish a permanent base in Allenwood. ACDAL also now offers Hot-desking and a collaborative office space. Businesses can rent a dedicated desk space on a monthly basis, or they can avail of our hot desking facility, where a desk can be rented as required at a daily rate. The hot-desking service can be availed of on a walk-in/walk-out basis. These options are ideal for Start-ups, Entrepreneurs, Free-lancers, or those working remotely.In order to modernise our facilities and enable us to bring our service offering in line with the requirements of companies, remote workers and the wider Allenwood community, ACDAL is seeking quotations from suppliers for the development of three spaces within the building. To facilitate own-door office options for remote workers, we will also be installing wireless access points along an existing corridor and servicing existing offices with them. The contract will be awarded to a single supplier for all elements of the work which encompasses the below areas.IT Equipment and Electrical and Cabling Works Audio Visual EquipmentOffice Furniture and Ancillary WorksThe three rooms requiring an upgrade are our Conference Room, Computer Training Room and Hot Desking area. Other associated works in other parts of the building may need to be completed as part of the project, but these are outlined in the RFQ document.
