Descriptions
This notice contains information in relation to the upcoming West Yorkshire Combined Authority requirement to review and procure the provision of services and goods related to engaging people in active travel activity and providing support for people to walk, cycle, wheel and scoot as part of everyday journeys. The Combined Authority have an established behaviour change programme that delivers communication and engagement activity to target audiences in West Yorkshire, to enable more people to travel more actively, to help us achieve our ambitions for West Yorkshire to become a net-zero carbon economy by 2038. The Combined Authority are currently in the process of putting in place a framework that will cover multiple individual projects/requirements, and also looking at the future pipeline of upcoming requirements that will support the delivery of the behaviour change programme. We are looking to procure the provision of cycling and walking engagement services and goods that will support the delivery of this programme for a period of up to 4 years. We anticipate that the framework will be split into the following Lots, but reserve the right to amend these if required: Theme 1Developing an inclusive cycling activity offer for West Yorkshire£204,913 Theme 2Delivering cycling activity in schools£220,000 Theme 3Delivering walking engagement activity for schools £240,000 Theme 4Delivering walking engagement activity for businesses £240,000 Theme 5Provision of beginner-level bikes (Year 1)£45,000 Provision of beginner-level bikes (Year 2 to 4)£248,000 Theme 6 Provision of Bike and Scooter Parking in schools £595000.00 over 3 years This notice is for information purposes only and not a call for competition.
