Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint a service provider to carry out the following surveys to mitigate planning conditions: • Roof coverings (excl first floor CCTV roof to Goal Street as due for demolition) • Rainwater goods • External masonry • Exterior and interior of windows • External doors • Boundary wall to Goal Street • Timber roof lights • Inspection of stone needs to consider; all damaged/spalled/worn elements of stonework which will require repair and a specification for their repair; all mortar joints which will require repair and a specification for their repair; all damaged/spalled/worn brickwork elements which need repair and a specification for their repair. The investigations and the written reports are to take into account the requirements of the following British Standards and Codes of Practice: BS 8221-1:2012 - Code of practice for cleaning and surface repair of buildings.
